About Finesse

We give you our full attention

Engaging with Finesse starts with a free on-site consultation with owner and founder of the company, Pauli Weideman.  A detailed quotation will be provided, outlining the various aspects of proposed work.

Often the on-site visit coincides with a technical inspection by an expert Dulux paint technician - free of charge.

As a professional painting contractor, Finesse believes in personal contact to take into account the interior and exterior requirements of your house, including answering product-specific questions about painting a house.

We help you decide on colours and finishes

We realize that painting your house is not always straight forward.  Apart from a plethora of paint colour choices, the technical details of painting products can be overwhelming.  That is why we take the time to not only help you choose paint colours, but also the correct type of paint (e.g. acrylic, enamel, water and damp proofing), the most appropriate finish (e.g. matt, satin and low sheen, gloss and semi-gloss or high gloss), and the correct treatment for timber (e.g. sealant, varnish, paint, wax, stain).  In addition, we can refer you to a colour consultant who can ensure a happy marriage between your paint and decor to compliment your interior design.

You can rely on us not to take shortcuts

At Finesse we do regular on-site visits throughout a project, and ensure ongoing personal supervision of work.  We believe in hands-on project management.  Our painting teams are briefed every morning, and we monitor progress on a daily basis.

Finesse only uses high quality Dulux, Dulax Trade, Duram and Plascon paint products that have stood the test of time.

We use the right product for the job.  We don't substitute products, use inferior alternatives or take short cuts.  Most importantly: we do what we say we will do!

A paint job is only as good as the preparation that is carried out, the products that are used, and the technical process that is followed.
